worthless for 3k. and i am mad .

Recieved this washer and dryer Kenmore Elite 3/16 2013, its large and quiet but is a lousy performer. Whites are dingy and seem to get worse after each wash. The clothes from the dryer are thoroughly wrinkled every time.Called in the technician he stated ,'those new products are a bunch of ****'. I agree.I Want to return them,i'm still under 60 day warranty.Sears has offered to exchange but i will have to pay much more ,because i got them on sale. If you like clean clothes dont buy this product.

Do not buy any LG's cheap **** product

Newer worked. After installation it makes loud noise. Called dealer and they called LG and LG keeps insisting that it was installation problem. After I talked to LG directly and convicted them to send technician to check the unit out. After 5 days technician showed up and he did not find any installation issue. He checked the dryer and found motor is bad and faulty code on the panel is due to front panel and control board so every major component is bad only thing is left is shell. In the process of opening technician brook top cover plastic latch (cheap plastic). Now Dealer says that they can not replace the unit until LG authorize it and LG says that they have to repair it. Why should I repair brand new unit which was defective on arrival. It's been 17 days I am going back and forth between dealer and LG. I only have option to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I will never buy any LG product in future. I also brought along with dryer LG washer WT4870CW washer. It is a

WIfe very happy!

This dryer is great. Lots of drying options. Quiet, simple to use and very efficient! My wife loves it and happy I bought it for her. She actually likes doing laundry! Couldnt be more pleased.

Another Great Kenmore Product!!

Just got my new Kenmore dryer today. I am replacing my old Kenmore dryer of 23 years. I have dryed two loads and both loads came out prefect! The 1st load was towels, alot of towels & wash cloth's, they all came out dryed. The next load was my husband's work shirt's, they too came out prefect, all were dryed and ready to be hung up for him to wear, no iron needed. I find it very easy to use.So far, I Love my new Kenmore Elite dryer, hoping it last just as long as my old one did if not longer.

Dependable and Fast Dryer

So far I am very pleased with our dryer. It dries clothes quickly and I like the various heat and dampness settings. My only complaint is that lace items get stuck on the plastic section under the lint trap. If you have nice delicate items I would recommend putting them in a mesh bag to protect them.

Great Dryer so Far

I have only had the dryer for a week, but it works wonderfully so far. I bought it as a set with the matching Samsung Front Load washer. Both work great together and are very efficient. I have them stacked and it saves lots of room.

Disappointing Results

Purchased this dryer with a Model 31522 Washer. The towel cycle does not completely dry towels. The cycle ends while the towels are still damp. Clothes come out wrinkled, even after removing the clothes as soon as the dryer stops.

Learning To Use

My washer can wash a ton of clothes. I bought this dryer so I could dry a ton of clothes. Having a few problems with selections. Too many for me. And my clothes don't get dry. So I think I must be on a learning curve.

I like it ... a dryer is a dryer ...

We purchased this with matching washer and pedestals. Well, a dryer is a dryer and pending any problems (LG based, so I am confident), it dries things. How do you review a dryer? It is quiet in that you hear the clothes tumbling, you can see the tumbling and it looks very attractive - understated presence and quality.I have found that the drying sensor works very well; it adjusted time well for both lightly and highly wet items. The dryer also heats and cools rapidly ... the drum also appears to have a nice, even heat distribution and high air flow. The range of settings are excellent in that delicate womanly clothes came out well (we used to hang dry these).Now if there is one thing I might have changed, it is that I would have bought the model above (steam) with the drying rack for sneakers, very delicate items, and cell phones that have been dropped in the toilet/puddle - especially since Sears' sales can sometimes have only a $50 difference. It was a good purchase!

It Drys...

I have this dryer and the matching washer. It's simple enough to use and, not counting the first use, it has dried everything to complete dryness so far. I'm not giving it 5-stars for two reasons: (1) the motor makes a repeating "brum brum brum brum" sound instead of a constant "brummmmmmmmmmmmmm" sound which worries me (this could be normal but I've never had a dryer make a repetitive sound vs. a consistent sound) and (2) installation of the dryer cord was an unnecessary pain in the behind. There should be (and could be) more space in that area.

Not worth the money

We bought the predecessor to this model. Less than 1 year after we bought it the control board went out. Now less than 2 months after the warranty expires the control board goes out again. The total package with the extended warranty was over 3k (washer and dryer). It lasted 1 year before the first breakdown and then 4 years later once again. this set was the made in Germany, with good quality, bla, bla, bla... It would have been better to buy a much cheaper model at ********** and if it crapped out 4 or 5 years later what have you lost? Not much. We will never buy another Sears product. it just doesn't add up.
