Good looking and wonderful features

While I have only had this refrigerator for 3 months I am very happy with this purchase. The quality of construction is much better than a famous brand I looked at before finding this one. The cost was about the same but the other brand had handles that could actually be squeezed almost together. (side by side also) Very cheap plastic. The LG unit is very sturdy and very quiet running. It produces sufficient ice for a family of four, and we use a lot of ice. The light is very pleasant when opening the door. Also I notice that the finish seems to resist finger prints. When they are left they are are easily wiped off with no streaking. Love this refrigerator and the LG brand!!!

Still New....

...but so far very amazing piece of workmanship. looks and feels solid when opening door, no rattles except for groceries. keeps everything crisp and cool as needed; still waiting to compare power bills from last summer, but so far saving a bit of $. love the space especially in the doors-- 2 liters, gallons etc. wonderful. easy display and the interior lights are great for midnight snacks...you dont get blinded by them they just illuminate whats in the fridge. very excited to see the longevity of life...this purchase could turn the rest of our kitchen to an LG showroom!

Great features, excellent value!

After trying and returning three(!) different Sears Elite models and one Whirpool, we were relieved to come across this LG model, which more than met our expectations - in appearance, features and performance. The only minor drawback I could find are the rather plain white plastic door bins, wheras I would've preferred a much nicer clear plastic ones often found on other models.

I believe this is the best refrigerator.

Have had no trouble with this refrigerator. Icemaker works without clogging, Temps on both frezzer & refrigerator stay consistant! Love the look and performance.

Not completely satisfied

Pros for this refrigerator are the LED lighting,pull out drawer, good sized ice maker, movable shelves, large capacity trays on inside of drawer. The cons would be louder than normal ice cube maker, would have been nice to have an egg tray. Overall, I like the refrigerator EXCEPT for: the 'unlit' icons for the 'Ice Type' on the door. You can't read which is water, crushed ice, cubed ice. You have to have the light on in the kitchen to tell which is which. I would not have bought this product if I had known they don't light. We are an older couple and it makes it a lot harder for us to see. Our fault for not having the company from which we bought it plug it in for us so we could see. That is the only reason I would not recommend this product.

Side by side fridge

We have had ours over a month now. Its extremely quite with lots of space. LG was a brand we wanted to look at because we purchased a washer and gas dryer from them and have been very happy with the results. We hope to continue with LG products and looking now at a large screen tv..It took less than 24 hrs for the icemaker to kick out all the ice we need. The food in the fridge is staying fresh longer. Well satisfied....

Overall Great Frig

Love my new Side by Side. I just wish that the ice despenser was better at dispensing into your cup and not in the floor and it would have been nice if they would have included an egg tray! Other than those 2 minor things it's been a great refrigerator so far!

just what I wanted

This refrigerator/freezer is just what I wanted, the only thing I have noticed so far is a small amount of condensation appears to form on the top lip of the freezer. I haven't figured that out yet, but will keep watching it. I'm thrilled with this refrigerator freezer

LG side-by-side with water/ice dispenser

<p>Owned for 3 yrs, major problems with ice dispenser breaking(replaced twice); ice container cover broke once. Major rust is occuring beneath the ice/water dispenser insert on the front of the door. Neither the manufacturer nor Sears accepts responsibility for the poor performance of this unit.</p>

i hate it

<p>This refridgerator is junk!!!!!! Do not buy it. The door that regulates the temp between the fridge and the freezer either freezes open or freezes shut and things in the fridge are either warm or froozen. I have to take mine apart AT LEAST once a week now to repair it </p>

Great capacity!

This refrigerator is the perfect size for my family. I love the vegetable and fruit drawers. The ice machine works well. I just can't say anything bad, This is an awesome machine!
