I love this thing! While it took me a few minutes to figure out the menu system we ended up with a gorgeous picture in all modes and when we put in a BR DVD it really comes to life even more than I thought it could! We then added a 3D movie and, to be honest, I had my reservations about these cheap sunglasses they included in the box. Once the movie started I was very surprised and ultimately happy that I don't need batteries for the glasses!We bought this at Christmas time on layaway so we got both the F&F and veterans discount bringing the price down to the $800 mark. To make it interesting I added back the in house warranty and we were right back at the sales price! Hard to beat!Excellent picture and the Superbowl was all the better this year!
LG continues to prove that they can compete with Sony and Sharp with a high-quality 3D LCD TV with a great picture and numerous extras that will put a smile on your face. I've had mine for a couple of months and I still have not used all the options this TV has available. I love the picture. It is bright and sharp and so life-like. The colors are beautiful and movies are an adventure with the clarity and sharpness.It is light weight and approximately and inch thich. I find it unbelievable a TV this this can create such brilliance. It's great for sports as well as movies. I bought the TV for several different reasons but the major one was to watch hockey. I am so impressed at the picture dring the game. Everything is so brilliant and crisp, it is easy to see the players numbers and follow the action as if I were in the arena.I find that when making a big purchase such as this TV, you end up leaving the store with several more items to go with it and several hundred dollars less in your wallet. Not this time however. The 3D Blu-Ray DVD player is less than one hundred dollars, all of the cables needed came with it, and I was given ten extra pairs of 3D glasses to go with it.The only drawback I can find after owning this TV for over two months is that surround sound is worth purchasing on your own as the TV's sound does not do justice to the high-quality picture.
I purchased this tv for my new home that I just purchased in January. It is a great addition to my bedroom and I wall mounted it so it looks great and out of the way. The picture quality is awesome and watching 3D movies in blu-ray is unbelievable I would recommend this to all my friends.
Well, I wasn't planning on buying a new television, but my old one had different plans for me.The fact that this was bundled with the blu ray player is what sold me. I had ben discussing getting a blu ray and when my old flat screen puked this popped up and I purchased it. The 3D is very neat but a fad I fear. The family and I have purchased movies on 3D and our satellite provider has channels dedicatd to just 3D which is pretty cool. Would I reccomend it? Yes I would. If you have littler ones that require smaller glasses I would suggest getting the smaller glasses as they will fit their faces better. I love the energy saver feature as far as it adjusts to the lighting level in the room. If it is dark it dims down so as your eyes aren't completely dialated! The accessory hook ups are good, but there I times I wished I had more. I do have my pc hooked up as well as the dvr and satellite along with the blu ray two game systems. I can't believe it myself! I need more! I know this product may no longer be available as televisions change faster than the seasons these days, but if you happen across it, buy it!

This TV is a great buy! We don't ever get the newest technology however we couldn't resist. The picture is great and it is easy to use.
I got one for Christmas and I love it and love the hdmi inputs and love the 3d its a new way to watch tv and feel so up close

I bought this system and was pleasantly supprised with the picture quality. The picture is very crisp and clear. The 2d to 3d upconversion is excellant. I connected my Sony Blue ray player/surround sound system for an even better picture and sound. The speakers/audio on this system are week and you will deffinately need a sound system. My main complaint about this TV is there is no audio out connection except for the digital optical out which caused me to have to buy an additional cable I had not planned for. I have the blue ray player in storage for suture use with my JVC big screen.
Great TV for the price and conveince of purchasing it at your friendly K-Mart store nearest you.

I thought I would try 3D TV since the price was so low and included a 3D blue ray dvd player and four pair of glasses. Sears was the lowest in price $899.00. This LG 47 inch tv is so thin I can put it anywhere.
The viewing quality is outstanding on both 3D and regular viewing. You get 4 pair of glasses that are light weight and do not require batteries.
Sound quality could be improved.
Ordered on a Thursday and Sears delivered next day
So far, we are very pleased with both the tv and dvd player! Great package deal for the price! Now, we're looking forward to adding a sound system. The picture quality on the tv is really nice.
