I bought one of these same ladders in 1995 at a Home Improvement Show. It is super sturdy, and is actually a ladder system that configures into several types, like an A frame, Extension Ladder, or even 2 A frame ladders. It can be set up on stairs. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this, but I will tell you, it is quite heavy; I think it weighs about 45 pounds. Yo can see it in action on a demo video at the manufacturer's web site Little Giant. The demonstrator makes it look easy, and he must be super strong. Back in 1995, I was stronger than I am now at 67 years old, and its weight never concerned me. As heavy as it is, I still love this ladder and prefer using it over anything else I or anybody else have. It is super sturdy (oh, I said that before, but it really is!)
My husband has loves and can not live without it. We bought ours at a home improvement show when they just came out probably about 20 years ago. It's made very well. It's been used and abused at our house and still have plenty of years left on it. Well worth the money.
Great sturdy ladder with numerous configurations. Recommend it for all home owners. I can use it as a step ladder, on the stairs or an extension ladders.
Great ladder to have for residential or commercial use. Sturdy, heavy duty, stores away nicely, doesn't take much space.
The ladder is a little heavier than I am used to - but I feel more stable while using it. Will be a nice addition to my tools.
This ladder feels pretty sturdy and is very versatile. Overall a good purchase, however, there are a few things to consider before purchasing. First, it is fairly heavy. Second, the rungs are a bit narrow depending where you need to stand. This could become painful if you do not shoes with firm soles.
This ladder has helped my husband get all sorts of chores done around the house :-) from cleaning the gutters to trimming the apple tree. Thank-you!
This ladder, when it is collapsed, is easy enough to move around. The way the ladder works makes it easy to set up and take down too. I can do this by myself (I'm a woman in her mid-50s).
This ladder does a lot of thing you need; but you better have someone besides you helping because it is very hard to maneuver this ladder around because of its weight. Basically, multifunctional but quite cumbersome.
I like the ladder, but I thought it would be a little easier to change positions. Overall its a good buy, but you really need two people to operate it if you are a smaller person like myself.
I purchased this model for multiple use inside and outside the home. I like the many ways this ladder can be configured for use, and it's a sturdy ladder provided that the rubber feet have solid, flat, ground to latch on to. However, this ladder is heavier than other ladders of the same abilities. I do like the joint system where the spring-loaded pins wait for you to move the ladder into a configuration, once you've pulled them, before snapping back into place. This makes it's easier to manuver the ladder instead of trying to do so while pulling the pins.
As a side note, this ladder is not worth the cost as I found you can get better for the same price, or similar from another manufacturer for less cost. As well, I bought this online and picked up at a local Sears store and the ladder was missing a rubber foot. Therefore I'm skeptical on the ladder's durability.
heavier than I thought ,though it does the job
Flexible, Mandy's positions, lightweight for carrying and easy to go from one position to another
use this ladder all day and you will wish you had gotten the one with wheels.
