Love

I had dishes sitting in the sink that had not been rinsed off because I wanted to see if this dishwasher would do what it says. And it did things I had to scrub before putting in my old one came out clean in the new one no scrubbing before. very very quiet I have a water distiller that is Louder than this dishwasher. very easy to install if you have the right space.

Lousy job

This did not get the dishes clean. I put a casserole dish on the top rack (not burnt on or dried on, nothing blocking it from below) it was not even close to clean, using the normal cycle; I ran it again (while still wet) on the auto detect setting - still not clean. Now it is running for the third time (still wet from the previous cycle) on the "Jetclean steam" setting. This dish should have gotten clean on a "normal" cycle.The adjustable rack it ludicrous. You have to completely remove the rack from the machine, and reposition it on the second set of wheels and put it back in, making sure as you push it back in that all four wheels are lined up correctly. If you have the rack already loaded and you realize that a glass is too tall you have to unload the entire rack before the height can be adjusted. An elderly person would find this very awkward if not impossible to do. This machine is going back. shame on you Maytag!

Maytag Jetclean is awesome

I replaced a 20 yr old Kitchenaid that was so loud and on its last leg. This Maytag is sooo quiet, it whispers! Great choice of washes, but prefer the light wash. It even got baked on stuff off my sauce pans! The install was provided by Sears, excellent job! I have always relied on Sears for all my appliances for 50 years.

COULD BE BETTER FOR THE PRICE

It does not seem to clean as good as my old Maytag that I had for ten years, but finally gave out. I wish I would have waited and looked at others before purchasing.

Just before the kid arrives

My wife and I remodeled our kitchen and wanted to install a dishwasher, which we didn't have, before our first child arrived. Research after research brought us to this dishwasher which has been awesome in so many ways. Our goal was to buy a dishwasher that could sanitize baby bottles. It does this. We wanted it to run quietly when the kid was sleeping. It does this. I needed it to be easy to install and it was. It cleans on one tiny little soap packet amazingly with nary a spot. There is a compartment for spot free liquid but we rarely use it. We really like that the buttons are on the front of the door as opposed to the top of the door for two reasons; one is that the buttons are easier to see and read, and second is that any ventinig of steam doesn't gum up the buttons in the long run. There are two compartments for silverware and utensils, both of which have a cover/cage to seperate each individual utensil for maximum cleaning. You can also remove a cover for larger utensils such as can openers, peelers, and others that don't fit with the silverware slots. THIS is a gem. I don't have to rest a large wooden spoon on the top rack and hope it doesn't fall through. Because of this the depth between the top and bottom rack is/seems larger than other dishwashers. I can still stand that same large wooden spoon upright in it's holder and not have it hit the large lower arm spinner. There is also an energy saver feature where it uses a minimal amount of water to run certain cycles. Having this option is nice when you don't have a full dirty set of dishes that need a lot of attention. This dishwasher is worth every penny and looks great in my new kitchen.

Cleans dishes better than any dishwasher I've owned

I'm still trying to figure out the best way to load the dishes as it doesn't seem to fit as many as my old dishwasher. It does however clean much better than any other dishwasher I've owned, and I like the clean simple look of the exterior.

So Quiet....

A very nice machine. The other night we were having a party and I did a quick load of dishes during. One lady figured out it was running because her behind was warmed. she was against it and could not hear it running.

Best money I spent, Maytag is worth the money

I love this dishwasher! I put the dishes in without rinsing them and I leave them with egg for a few days and the dishes come out sparkling. The best money I ever spent.It is not as quiet as I thought it would be, but I don't care because I love the fact that I just put the dishes in the dishwasher with no rinsing prior.

Very Quiet

Looked for a dishwasher that had the quick wash, other machines dropped that feature. It had excellent reviews and with the good reviews and the quick wash was a good enough reason to purchase.Did not regret the purchase, very quiet, have to be on top of the machine to hear it. It looks good and does what it was designed to do, wash dishes and does an excellent job of getting the dishes clean

Great Product

This i a great product and such an improvement over our last dishwasher. It is so quite sometimes I have to double check and make sure its working. Love it!! Also very easy to install.

Does a great job of cleaning the dishes.

This unit does a far better job than the Kenmore dishwasher it replaced. I no longer have small pieces of food in the bottom of my glasses like the old dishwasher use to leave.

Good Stuff

Replaced a 12 year old high end dishwasher with the Maytag ! What a difference !! -- Everything is better and the best is the noise - NONE Cannot hear it run. Get one !!

Hard to program

I bought this dishwasher as a replacement sight unseen. I did get an excellent price and viewed it online My main complaint is the slow response time when pressing the panel buttons to start the machine. My other machine broke at the door latch and this machine just pushes to latch. So, in theory, it should eliminate that problem, however, it feels like I have to force it to close, which concerns me. Overall, ok, not great

Works better than I expected

Never having a dishwasher before, but listening to my sister complaints about hers, I was taking the time to read reviews of various products and features and really took my time choosing a dishwasher. We did our own installation because it involved moving cabinets and countertops. Once that was done, the installation was easy and it cleans better than i expected and is so quiet. I have a small home and you can bearily hear it running.

We have been very impressed with the product.

All of our expectations have been met regarding performance. We were unhappy with the competitors dishwasher and finally decided to try the Maytag. The only thing I could recommend to improve the product would be the selection panel. Sometime you must push the panel several times for contact to be made.Other than that we couldn't feel any happier. I'm a quality control expert so thanks for making a quality product.Fred & Gayle

Very quiet, efficient

We're very pleased with this unit. The only negative thing that we've noticed is that the buttons are a little hard to read due to the small print, or maybe it's our older eyes.
