One of the best humidifiers I have purchased.

I purchased this humidifier  over a month ago.  After  having had the floor models, another smaller model of a different make, and the  fine mist model,  I chose this one for this  reason.   It specifically stated it would not leave a white  film  all over everything, and it does not leave one.

The size is perfect  and the oval shape works great in the room as far as being able to  place it  without it taking up too much space.   The design  is  attractive   so that you do not have to "hide"  it  if  space is limited.

The canister is easy to fill in the sink and very convenient to to carry.  I usually  can go more than a day without filling, unless it is very cold outside and the furnace is on more than it is normally.

I like the easy operation  and use of this model too. All you have to do is select the fan speed you want  and  choose  the level  of humidity.  Then it senses  the  humidity  in the room and automatically adjusts itself.   Of course you can change  the settings like a higher or lower fan speed etc;

I think this model  is  the best one I have purchased so far!   I only wish I would have found it  before purchasing all the others.

Junk!

I bought this because it was on sale for $19.99. The humidy indicator would not budge from 100%, so the fan would not turn on unless the desired humidity was also set at 100%. I took it back and got another one. The second one did the same thing. The indicator would occasionally drop to 30% but after a few seconds jumped back to 100% shutting the fan off (unless desired humidity was left at 100%.) It is not worth the 45 minute drive back to Sears to get another one. I'll use it as a decoration. Theres a reason they are selling it so cheaply.

Poor product

The unit is difficult to put the water container in. The water container is easy to fill but very difficult to put the lid on because the bottom is rounded and will not sit up. Very bad design.

I've had it for a year now, still works but...

pros - still reliable after a year of use, using it almost daily. Love the fan, it's very quiet and hasn't changed after a years use.cons - Why I have to give it a 3 now is because the reservoir has about 100 hairline cracks all along the bottom, I don't know how long it will last. I imagine they're created from the stress of the water after time. Also, the hygrometer has never worked, I have to set it to 100% to make sure the unit starts. Humidity is usually 50-55 for me, yet this thing always says it's over 90, though I've learned to live with it. It's the cracks that have me worried that it may burst any time.

With winter here and so much dry heat I needed something to combat dry skin and coughing so when I saw this humidifier for half price in the Sunday circular, I was there Monday morning. It is the perfect size for what I needed. I know it is working because it goes through a gallon of water every two days..

Not a good unit.

I returned the product after 3 weeks of use.- I am not used to having a filter within the unit that absorbs water, and letting the fan blow through to maintain the room humidity. Since the room humidity did not reach the set point, after a week, mildew started to grow on the filter. I later realized I am supposed to place some pill in the water to prevent bacteria, but it was not included in the initial purchase.- As for the built-in humidity sensor, I have question about its accuracy.- When it is blowing at max speed, the fan noise was too loud.- The material of the lid of the water tank was of poor quality, I think it may not last over a year, and could crack easily because it is so thin.

This is a very good humidifier. Everything is good except the water container which does not stay on surface and needs extra efforts during refilling it.
