Solar yard lights make it easy for a homeowner to do an instant yard upgrade at a relatively affordable price (better when you get these lights on sale). These Moonray solar yard lights (made by Woods) are bright when fully charged, so they are brightest during the early hours of nightfall. If you check the lights during the predawn hours, they will be dim or out, depending on whether they received a sufficient dose of sunlight during the day. These lights are attached to plastic tubes that in turn are attached to spikes to be secured to the ground, or they can be placed in a plant container. However, since the sun moves in different parts of the sky during the year, the lights will probably need to be moved to different locations to catch the most sunlight for a given season. Rain and sprinkler water will also leave the photovoltaic cell heavily water-spotted, though that doesn’t seem to affect performance. One of the eight solar lights did fail within a couple of months, but replacement was quick and easy by calling the tollfree number on the instruction sheet. All the lights in the kit need to be assembled by the owner. Once you get one light done, the rest are easy. The hardest part is getting all the packaging off the parts. As parts, the plastic lens and the part containing the photovoltaic cell may seem to flex too much, but when the parts are tightened together they have a sturdier feel. The photovoltaic cell charges a single AA-size nickel-cadmium battery, which the instructions say may need to be replaced yearly. When I look at 12-volt yard lights in my neighborhood and compare them to houses that use solar lights, the 12-volt lights definitely cast more light, and of course the light will be evenly-bright for the entire time that they are on. But solar lights are “green” so that makes them appealing.
These lights started off great but after about 2 months they steadly started to get dimmer and dimmer until they didn't give off any light at all. I was not very impressed by these lights for my walkway
Great price, great product.
I am adding these to my patio to brighten it .
Good path lights for a winter night - I use them all year
I had purchased two solar lights at a mega shopping store to go at the end of my handicapped ramp. I wanted more to go along a beautiful rock walkway my sons and husband made for me, but they cost too much on my limited budget. These look and function very good, and with the price, I am very pleased!
Outdoor lighting is great during the FALL. It is best when used for daylight savings and it gets a lot darker earlier. I use it to light up our pathway b/c it gets really dark and people will trip or walk into the wrong direction. it is definitely suitable and helpful during those seasons!
I absolutely LOVE this product. I bought two boxes when they were on sale @ Kmart for $15.00, and I must say they are awesome! Theyy stay on alllll night long tell morning when there is light out. Fixing to get me some more! MOONRAY VERONA IS THE BEST!!!!!!!

These are good inexpensive lights for the short term, but do not stand the test of time. If you need some quick lighting, get these, otherwise look elsewhere.
2 of my solar lights were washed away during a storm & I found them a day later. To my surprise, they both worked & were as bright as the other 6!! Great product!
While researching for a quality solar walkway system, I decided on the Verona Moonray brand. I am the type of consumer who demands quality as well as durability from a product. I have had my solar lights up and running now for a week , thru bright sunny days and partly cloudy days.I can say that I am satisfied with it's performance and will buy more.
Very good for the price. Bright and easy to put together.

I have to made two exchanges in order to get all lights working. There was one light only last for one night from the pervious two packets.
I have the copper ones and they're great, some of the ligts get dim sometimes for whatever reason, however my friends have driven over a lot of them over the past year so they're great for "disposable" ones, not that they are bad quality, but they are right priced for their use.
I am very happy with my lights. They really look good at night. I have them along my fence in the back and up my front walkway.
