Great Kids Shoe

I have bought my son this shoe 4 times as he has grown from age 4 to 5. It has been fairly durable and great for the price. The only problem is he doesn't want to try any other style of shoe, particularly if it is not extra wide like this. So here I am ordering it online for the next couple sizes he'll grow into and am so pleased to see it marked down.

Cute & Comfy

Both of my children are super picky about the shoes that they wear, if they are not completely comfortable and have a good fit they will not put them on their feet, which is why when it comes to buying shoes for them I turn to New Balance again and again. They don't just make sneakers to look good they make them to wear good and actually fit your feet, that are easy to run around and play in, comfortable to walk and run in, etc, etc. This is especially important to me because I don't know if other schools are doing this but in my kid's elementary school they make them run a mile every gym class. I've bought them other brands of athletic/ running shoes and they would come home on gym days with blisters all over there feet (and if they quit running because they are in pain the gym teacher makes them run longer than the other kids... thought it was elementary school not boot camp). So having a good fitting shoe is supremely important and these do the trick! They are super cute, do not hurt my son's feet and he absolutely loves them. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect for wide feet!

It's been VERY hard for us to find wide shoes (with velcro closure & not shoestrings) for my son where we live. Everything seems to be made for narrow feet, so getting these in extra wide was a great find! This is our second pair--he wore out the first ones pretty quickly, but at ages 5 & 6 he's very hard on shoes! I also like that they're mostly white--looks more expensive. Just wish Sears would make other boy's shoes in extra wide, with velcro!

Love NewBalance... only shoe for toddlers that is wide!!!!!!

These shoes are great, along with any other new balance brand shoes. They last through the wear and tear of my child (and that is a lot of wear and tear)! You really get your money's worth with these shoes and they are great for wide feet children too. I have a 2 y/o that has feet only one size smaller than his 7 y/o brother and these are the only shoes I can find to fit his little, wide, feet. Never want to put the wrong size shoe on.... it hurts.

New Balance Boy's Extra Wide Shoe fits comfortably...

After looking at numerous shoes for our 4 1/2 year old boy, we stumbled across this one at Sears. Even though I was not crazy about the $30.00 price tag, the shoe has been great so far! Since my son seems to have wide feet, I love that they make this shoe for wider feet. Plus, the velcro makes it for an easy transition on and off the foot. My son loves this shoe so far and so I do!
