This is a nice swing set for the money!

The wood doesn't seem as "heavy" as it should be but it seems pretty durable. The instructions are easy to follow and I had no issues assembling it by myself. It took the better part of a full afternoon. It's not as big as it looks in the picture but it's definitely worth the money. I would definitely recommend this.

Very Disappointed

My kids were so excited when I bought this for them. It only took about 3 weeks to come in even though it said 4-6 weeks. Unfortunately, that's about the only good thing about it. Firstly, it took us 7 hours to build. We weren't able to complete building it because there were several pieces missing. Also, some of the hardware was bad so I had to run to the hardware store to replace it otherwise I'd have to wait a few days for it to come it. Once we got what we could build, we had some strong wind gusts that came through and blew it over, snapping the main beam that connects the swingset part to the play house. The big middle swing, couldn't hold my 3 year old daughter. It kept sliding off the hardware and falling to the ground. THEN, when she was climbing up the ladder, the wood busted right out from under her. Luckily she was able to catch herself and pull herself up before she was seriously injured. The wood is cheap. The set is of the worst quality. And it's dangerous! My 3 year old weighs 25 lbs. It's inexcusable for this to fall apart under that little weight. Returned it today. What a waste.

You get what you pay for.

The picture of the playset is deceiving. It is smaller than picture shows. For the smaller peices of wood, the wood screws didn't grab properly because they were too short.

Looks great but probably won't last.

I did my research on wooden playsets before I purchased this one. All the reviews were the same in this price range so we went with the one that looked the best. Another reason I chose this set was that it was supposed to be cedar. After just 2 weeks of having it up it is already starting to mildew. I am not happy about that and didn't expect it so soon. The wood is also peeling in some places as well as a couple cracked pieces from assembly. It wasn't too hard to assemble ( my husband and 2 others did it in 7 hours). It should have only taken 6 hours but I spent an hour driving around trying to find a bolt to replace one that was sent without the threads cut in it. My 2 year old enjoys it and that's what really matters but I don't think it will hold up until he reaches the 8 year old limit. I don't think there is much better out there for this price.

Not sturdy enough

We purchased this set for our daughter on her 5th birthday. After 2 days of assembly, we realized how lightweight and unsturdy it is - even with anchors. The glider fell apart with my daughter on it on the second day of use. The entire set lifts off the ground when a 6-year-old or 8-year-old is swinging - even though the intended use is 3-8 years, I would not recommend this set for any other than a small child (under 5) - do not expect the set to "grow" with them. The set is much smaller than the picture appears as well. We were trying to save some money, but realized you get what you pay for,
