While new software will arrive on the 3DS later this year, for 3DS owners looking for something to tide them over, this is the best option. 'Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D' features the same massive amount of content the original does, only with enhanced visuals and the famous 'MasterQuest" included. Everything looks great, and the 3DS controls the action better than the Nintendo 64 did. For all 3DS owners, pick this one up now.
Literally what you expect. The graphics are improved over the N64 versions (including the GCN and Wiiware ports), although they changed Link's model entirely to provide "greater detail", which results in him sticking out like a sore thumb (which can be useful considering how small the default 3DS screen is).Still an amazing game, and it controls well for the most part, although certain aspects (like touchscreen inventory controls) work sporadically. Easy to recommend this, if you can still pick it up.Also note that this game includes the Master Quest, which basically means two games in one. And the second one is really dang hard.
The Zelda game that changed everything back for the 3DS. The game is just as amazing as it ever was now in 3D!
This game is awesome even though it's the same as the nintendo 64 version
Purchased for son; he really seems to enjoy it.
Arguably one of the best games ever made, this 3D rendition is hard to pass up.

If you check out gamerankings.com, you'll see that the top-rated game of all time is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 64. Ocarina revolutionized video games 15 years ago and set the precedent for all 3D action or adventure games we enjoy today. Nintendo has brought the game back for a new generation of players with a bold cosmetic touchup.
The truth about Nintendo 64 games is that they don't hold up as well as we remember them. The low-polygon graphics were amazing back in the day, but when compared with seventh-generation visuals they look really shoddy. With this remake, Nintendo has redone the graphics such that the game looks as we remember it through our rose-colored glasses. It's subtle until you actually do a head to head comparison and notice the difference.
Of course, the gameplay is still classic, and if you've never played this game before, this is a must-own. Even if you have, it also includes the remixed Master Quest from the GameCube, so there's plenty of gameplay time available for those looking to explore Hyrule.
This game is a remastered version of the Nintendo 64 classic The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Many professional reviewers and fans alike consider this to be the best video game ever created. Over a decade later, the gameplay stands the test of time. This version of the game features improved graphics and includes the Master Quest version of the game, which is essentially the same game but with more difficult, redesigned dungeons. There isn't a ton of new content here but this game is highly recommended to fans of the original and anyone who missed it the first time around.
