A fairly decent product, but it needs a bit of work...

When I placed the order for this bed I was given a shipping estimate of 30 days. I am quite pleased that it arrived, shipped in 3 packages, only a few business days later.

The bed appears nice enough, with all visible surfaces covered with a soft padded white vinyl. It's a striking looking bed, and can look every bit as nice as it does in the photo.

I did have a few minor complaints:

All of the screws and bolts seem to have just been tossed in one of the boxes. A few screws, washers, and a bolt were missing but thankfully none of it prevented me from assembling the bed. The missing bolt secured one of the feet, which is also reenforced by two wooden dowels; it wasn't critical. The box wasn't ripped, and all the tape was intact, so it looks like they just weren't included. (The instructions, which came on a single photocopied page, note to call should any parts be damaged or missing for replacements, but doesn't actually have a phone number... or a company name, or any contact information...)

The frame includes only three 3/4" x 2 1/2" plywood slats to hold up the matress. The center slat was to be re-enforced in the center with a fifth support leg, which from the instructions appears to be little more than a stick; It was also missing.  With the weight of a queen-sized matress and two people, IMO four slats minimum would have been better, especially with just ply.

From the picture it also didn't look like this bed was using a box spring. Unfortunately, my springless matress wasn't firm enough and sagged between the three slats.

I personally wasn't fond of the look with both my old thick box and thick mattress stacked on top of each other in this bed frame; I added two more slats of my own between the provided ones to up it to five, which should help, and droped a sheet of 1/4" ply on top of that to make a more solid platform. A slimmer box frame or a sturdier matress would possibly make this unneccisary.

Overall it's a very nice looking bed. I was lucky enough to grab it at a great time, with multiple stacking discounts and a percent-off coupon that basically negated the cost of tax and shipping. (There was no option for in-store pickup.) If I had to pay full price for this, plus shipping, plus tax, plus the extra $20 in materials I needed to make it work for me I'd have been a bit upset with the price... but for what I paid, it's a fair deal.
