the panasonic home theater sound system is not worth the money

Bought it back in November and it died in February. Took it into a panasonic approved repair shop and they had it for a month before they called to say it was ready for pickup. I went and picked it up and it didn't even have sound. I called panasonic to try to just get a replacement and they told me that the shop has to rule it unfixable before they would grant a replacement unit.

I took it back to the repair shop and they had it for 5 months before it was done. Panasonic kept backordering the parts needed for it to be fixed, so the shop says anyway. I just barely picked it up from the shop 2 days ago and now it just died again.

Never buy a Panasonic. If it goes bad, it takes forever for the repairs since they only care about selling new items and not trying to keep customers satisfied with their products. Will never buy a Panasonic again, and will always recommend against buying one.

Great Sound, great value for your money

This is a great theater sound system for your TV, what made it even better for us is that our TV is a Panasonic Viera. So this system is so easy to set up, the only problem I had was getting the cable tv to come thru the speakers but that was an easy fix once I called panasonic tech support

Panasonic 5.1 Suround sound

Great Value! Decent power and ipod dock sold it for me. The sound quality is no BOSE but for the price it has served me well for the past weeks. Anxious to see if it has Longevity also.

The Panasonic 5.1 Channel Surround 1080p has Viera Link!

I could not be happier with this product. It was easy to set up and the onscreen display is very helpful in fine tuning the sound and picture. I have a Panasonic TV, so the two units are connected by Viera Link, which means you need only one remote to control both of them. I attached it to my TV with an HDMI cable to get the best picture. I will add a Panasonic Blu-ray at some point and play it through these speakers.

Panasonic Home theater with 1080 upconvert

Best sounding 5.1 home theater system I have found. Full range sounds, the wireless rear speakers are a huge bonus when installing into an existing home, without access to the cieling or behind the walls. Powerful Bass provides movie theater quality sound. The one thing that would have made this an awesome home theater, is if it were a Blue ray player.

Sounds good, but can not get regular TV to go thru speakers.

Setting up speakers was a breeze. I went with the front speaker configuration which was nice not needing to run wire everywhere. DVD with HDMI set up gives a pretty good picture. It is nice to have the Ipod dock, but it takes awhile figuring out the remotes set up for controlling ipod. Have not yet figured out how to have the cable TV go thru surround sound yet, directions not too clear on how to go about that. Besides that I think it is worth the money.
