Quiet, Inexpensive, Exercise Bike! :)

I shopped around and price compared this Proform 110R Exercise Bike. Hands Down this is a good bargain. This bike took my husband about a little over an hour to unpack, and assemble. It is a bike that can be moved to another room also if needed. On the plus side, it is QUIET, has a heart rate monitor on the handles, adjustable seat, and has many workouts that are programed, in the console to work out to. It also has a 90 day parts/labor warranty with it. The bike console runs on 4 D batteries (not included), you can purchase an adapter if you wish, if your concerned about using batteries. I have recently used the bike and the console has basic buttons, which is great if your not looking for anything complicated. Love it!! I do recommend this Proform 110R Exercise Bike :)

ProForm Recumbant Bike 110 R

Worst bike you could own. I bought mine in April 2012 and the most expensive part (resistance mechanism) went out and they couldn't do anything. The part costs more then the bike. Worst part of all of this is I have 20 hours at most on this bike.

Poor quality and no warranty

1 month after the "90 day parts and labor warranty" expired, we moved to a new house and noticed that the carpet underneath where the bike had sat was eaten away or burnt. We couldn't figure out at all how it happened, so we finally shrugged it off and moved on. Soon after that, the display quit working - tried every brand of new battery and nothing. So I couldn't even adjust the resistance...that wasn't a huge deal to me as I was going through physical therapy on my knee and didn't need it, but frustrating nonetheless. It's been just over a year now and I noticed that it is leaking some rusty goo from the rear of the main assembly - guessing this is what ate our carpet in the old house. We paid over $200 for this bike at Sear's (on sale) last year and now I see it's on sale for $99 - I think that pretty much sums up this bike..My previous exercise bike also had a 1 year parts/display warranty unlike this one...

so far so good,assembly tips!!

first cut off tip off med size allen wrench provided and use in cordless drill as a bit!!! cuts time in half! then when done use an old power supply cord from an old plug in phone charger or in my case a netgear router power cord and save 20$ and $ on batteries!!

Terrible exercise machine

This machine's digital screen broke one week after the 90 day waranty! The screen dies and resistance won't work, terrible machine and wasted money buying it, I would never recommend it to anyone! I found more than one comment with the same problem as mine, so I know it has happened to multiple people! Do not waste your money on a exercise machine that will break shortly after your 90 day waranty period!!!! TERRIBLE MACHINE!!!

Absolutely NEVER buy this product

In the one year I have owned it, I have had to change the batteries numerous times, order parts, and now the belt it broken. When I called customer service it was shameful how I was treated. Absolutely never buy this substandard product. Worst experience ever

Piece of junk!

This bike worked-initially. It really chewed through the batteries though as it woudl not turn off. This lasted just past the 90 day warranty- at which point it will no longer turn on. Support offered a replacement console- for only 184.99. Add in the shipping and that is more than i paid for the bike, er, I mean paperweight! Very dissapointed in this product and their support. Stay away.

Average User

PRO's: Price, smooth, quiet.
CON's; Don't try to use batteries. They don't last very long. Get the adapter at Sears. and be sure to get the recommended one. Heart rate monitor is useless. No light for the instrument indicators. The upright, Item # 2, leans to the left 3 degrees and the Carriage Rail is offset to the left approximately 2 degrees. Seat adjustment is somewhat difficult. Still I would recommend it, probably can't beat it for the price.

Everything I Expected!!!

I had an old elliptical recumbent bike from proform which I absolutely loved, but because of age it finally bit the dust. After looking unsuccessfully for another bike like my old one this was as close as I could get. Even though, it isn't as good as my old bike it comes in a close second. The only draw back was putting it together which took some time due to the holes not lining up exactly and I had to remove the seat which was already attached to be able to see the holes. They should just leave the seat off and let it be attached as you are putting the rest together. All in all, I think it is a great bike for the price.

Don't waste your money on this

Batteries needed replacing after two uses
Ordered electric adapter $20 plus shipping
Resistance quit working--called Company and they wanted to charge $62.00 for wiring harness from control panel to resistance motor. After talking with his supervisor, she sold it to me for $26.00. They both assured me the wiring harness was what I needed. Wiring harness didn't fix resistance problem. Replacement resistance motor costs $110.00 plus shipping. That is almost the price of a new one. Sears has them on sale for $199. I will continue to use it as is, no resistance. This is a joke product.
