To remove the spring retainer use the male square end of a 1/2 inch drive ratchet extension. Place the male end down into the spring retainer and turn it counterclockwise to un-thread it.

Are Greenies dangerous for my dogs?
by Mike Morris
October 30th, 2009
Manage My Life
Greenies should not be dangerous if your dog chews them before swallowing. Don't feed Greenies if your dog tends to swallow them whole or after only a few bites because they're not cleaning your dog's teeth and may cause an obstruction.
