What is does valuation mean on a moving bill?

Valuation refers to the degree of worth of the shipment. If you see this on your bill, it means the overall value of your possessions was considered greater than the base amount specified in the mover's transportation charges. A valuation charge is meant to compensate the mover for assuming a greater degree of liability.
