Should I use my humidifier during winter time?

I had a humidifier installed together with my a/c last summer.Do Istill use the humidifier during winter time?

Sure, if it is required. Air conditioners do a wonderful job of dehumidifying during the summer months. In the winter, the opposite is true. Most houses are a little too dry. Be sure, however, not to exceed the recommended humidity levels in the links below. If humidity levels get too high, you'll end up with condensation problems. Typically, there is a bypass duct on your humidifier. The damper is likely closed because we just finished the air-conditioning season. For the humidifier to work, the damper will have to be opened.
