How do I install the new start relay on my Kenmore refrigerator?

I have a Kenmore refrigerator model number 106.52282201. The original part that burned out is the start relay #2212193. I bought the part that it substitutes over to (8201786). It won't fit the terminals and it seems like I need something else. Please advise me on installing this part.

The part number for the start relay (2212193 substituted to part 8201786) will only fit the original compressor that was installed in the refrigerator. If the original compressor was replaced with a service compressor (2212191 or 8201557), then the start relay indicated above will not fit. I recommend checking the information and numbers on your compressor. If it is apparent that the compressor has been replaced, then you will need start relay/overload part number 4387767 (which will substitute to 4387535).

This information may help you resolve this problem. If not, resubmit your question with additional details and information off of the compressor that is installed in the refrigerator.
