What would cause my oven to not heat when set on bake, but it will work on broil?

I have a Kenmore electric range model 790.96010401 that will not heat on bake. The front panel lights up but the top & bottom elements don't heat. The oven works on broil and the stove top works as usual.

If the broil element and the bake element does not heat up at all when the oven is cold and set on bake, it may have a failed oven control board or an open bake element. The broil element should come on for a very short while along with the bake element during the bake mode to help preheat the oven. After a short time the broil element should shut off and continue to heat using the bake element only.

I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your range.
