How to get melted aluminum foil off of oven floor?

by Manage My Life Last activity date:

I have a new model 790 Kenmore elite double oven. Yesterday I used the self-cleaning feature for the first time. After smelling the fumes all night, I decided to line bottom with heavy duty aluminum foil. Alas, before the oven even reached 350 degrees, the foil had melted in the middle where a previous spill had been cleaned during the cleaning yesterday. Can I get it off without damaging the oven?
