What is causing my GE dryer to squeak as it's running?

I have a GE dryer model DPSR483EA1WW that goes squeak, squeak, squeak while running..The squeak is louder when the clothes are first in, wet and heavy...quietens as they dry and weigh less.

The squeaking noise is most likely emitting from the drum bearing (key#543). In order to access and replace the drum bearing will require removing the drum. The drum bearing/sleeve is part# WE1M462. I added the instructions on how to remove the drum in the images below.

NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing the dryer.
