Water is puddling at the bottom of my refrigerator and I can see where it is coming from I just don't know how to remove a part so I can see what exactly is causing the leak.

The owner's manual is no longer available for this model. It would not likely help you with disassembly. You can view a parts list diagram that may help you with this problem. The parts list diagram is available on the

Sears PartsDirect

website. Use the full model number of 106.8740983 to access the diagrams for this model.

The accumulation of water in the refrigerator is likely caused by a frozen or clogged defrost drain pan under the evaporator (Key 3 on the BREAKER AND PARTITION PARTS page of the diagram). Condensate water formed when the automatic defrost heater melt ice and frost off of the evaporator collects in this pan and normally drains down to the evaporating tray (Key 40 on the UNIT PARTS page) that is beside the compressor at the bottom of the unit. To access the defrost drain under the evaporator, you would need to

unplug the refrigerator

and then remove the inside back wall of the freezer. If you are able to access this area, you will likely be able to defrost the frozen drain pan under the evaporator and fix this problem. Pour hot water down the drain tube to make sure that it is clear.

There is a slight possibility that a leak in the ice maker water fill system could be causing this problem.
