How can I remove something that fell inside the lint screen opening?

It's a Kenmore dryer.

Marina: Based on your description the chapstick slid all the way down into the blower wheel housing and the blower wheel is rubbing the chapstick. In order to access and remove the chapstick will require removing lint chute. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing your dryer.

I added a YouTube video showing how to remove the lint duct . This is the URL address of the video youtube.com/watch?v=mXXtaXkRMf4&feature=player_embedded

You should be able to access the chapstick by removing the lint filter, the screws hidden under the lint filter, the rear panel and lint duct. The video covers how to replace the blower wheel but you shouldn't need to remove it or the front panel. View the video and it will show how to remove the lint chute.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

It is a Sears Kenmore, model #11087870100. I have had it for 25 years! Runs good still, but dropped a round chaptstick in a hard plastic case down the lint screen chute. I can hear it moving around when I put dryer on. Do I need to remove the back completely to get to the lint screen? Will I be able to get to it to remove?
