Brand new kenmore microwave, model no. 721.63259301, oven light does not work. How can I fix or change it?

New Kenmore microwave just out of the box, model no. 721.63259, light inside never worked. Unplugged from power to reset computer but still doesn't work. Is there something simple to do, or should I just take back? Don't want to do anything to void the warranty.

It does not appear the oven cavity light can be removed and replaced with removing the wrapper.

NOTE: DO NOT remove wrapper and replace the light bulb

. Microwaves inherently store huge amounts of voltage (10,000) even with the microwave unplugged from the power source. You will need to return the microwave for repair.

Hi BSGgal, I have had that same issue before and I'm pretty sure most people have as well. Something that I highly recommend you to do is visit the SearsHomeService website. I attached the link below if you are interested in looking up the website.
