My Kenmore HE2 plus wash machine is flashing the F 24 code?

The model # is 11047532601

series HLT 4467602

IT is a kenmore front load washer

I did what the manual said to do it still flashed F 24. The machine will run on the clean the machine washer cycle with out a proplem

Understanding error codes is very confusing and need to be check as soon as possible because we don't know what exactly it means but can be something very serious. The F24 error code indicates a temperature sensor failure. This type of diagnosis will require using an ohmmeter to check the resistance value of the temp sensor. First,

disconnect power

to the washer. Remove the front lower panel first to locate the temp sensor. The temp sensor may be located in the front or back depending on the serial number lot. Please see the image provided below from the service manual for step by step instructions on accessing, testing & replacing the temperature sensor.
