My kenmore high efficiency washer #47141802701 won't start after I push start.

My kenmore 3.5 capacity high efficiency washer model #41748102701 won't start after I push start. The door lock, add garment, washing, and final spin lights are on and the start light is flashing. The door locks but the washer does not start filling like it normally does.

A washing machine is one of the most important household appliances due to the fact that it is just so convenient; it saves you time from having to go to a laundry mat and while you are doing other things around the house or just step out of the house you can wash a load all at the same time. So it can be a very big disappointment when the washer no longer works properly. I have taken some time to further your search here on Manage My Life and noticed that someone else had asked a similar question with a posted response from an expert. I have attached the link below if you are interested in viewing the page while waiting on your response from an expert. Hope this helps, have a wonderful day!

The indicator lights and start light are flashing to indicate an error code. (See images below)

The five indicator lights of Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, Final Spin and Control will flash the number of times for the first digit of the code and the Start indicator light will flash the number of times for the second digit.

Take separate counts of each indicator light, then repeat to confirm in order to be accurate in identifying the proper error code.

The code is obtained by counting the number of times the lights flash. Example E24: The five indicator lights would flash twice indicating the 2 and the START indicator light will flash four times indicating the 4. The five indicator lights and the START indicator light start flashing at the same time.

I added a couple of images below that should help you diagnose the failure. If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website:

When I got the error code from the washer, it looks like it is error E66. The 5 lights flashed 6 times and the start light flashed 6 times. I could not find error E66 on the attachment you gave me. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks

I believe you may have mis-counted the flashes. I have not heard of an E66 code. It can get confusing if you do not cover one or the other while counting the flashing start light and the row of 5 lights. Cover the start light so that you can not see it flash and take your count of the 5 lights and then cover the row of 5 lights and take a count of the start light. You will likely come up with a different count.

When I put the washer into diagnostic mode, the 5 lights flashed 11 times and the start light flashed 14 times. I'm not sure if I was putting the code together right because I didn't see an error code BE on the error code list.

I believe the code is indicating a failed control board if your were reading the code correctly. I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and confirm your findings.
