The F1 error code indicates that the control board detects a water level pressure transducer signal that is out of range. This can be caused by a problem with the air pressure hose between the bottom of the tub and the connection to the water level pressure transducer on the control board. It can also be caused by a defective control board.

One thing to try first is to access the control and check the plastic hose is not kinked or twisted. You can follow the hose down to the air trap.

With the tub empty you can try to remove the hose and blow through it towards the outer tub. If it is clogged or difficult to blow through then you have most likely found your problem.

The images below will help you access the control and pressure hose.

Remember to unplug the washer first.

I understand how inconvenient it can be to have an error code on your washer since this can keep your washer from working properly and I hope to be of some help. While you are waiting for an expert answer, I recommend you resubmit your question and include the model number of your washer so that the expert will provide you with a more detailed answer. I did mange to find a link that will provide you with more information about you r problem: managemylife.com/mmh/questions/123053-does-f1-error-code-1. I hope my link is useful.
