kenmore gas range, when you turn on the oven the burner flame pulsates up and down.

kenmore range model#362.72321 oven burner flame pulsates up and down..when you tap the regulator the regulator buzzes the flame stabilizes but within 30 to 60 sec. flame gose back to pulsating. regulator or heat temp. sensor??

I suspect the problem is in the regulator. Something to think about is when you tap the regulator, you are also affecting the oven safety valve. The safety valve could be causing the problem also.

I don't think the oven sensor would be the problem, but the electronic oven control (clock) could.

I suggest you read the voltage between the white wire on the gas valve and the yellow wire on the ignitor. If the voltage is holding steady you can eliminate the clock as a possible problem.

If I were going to guess, I would guess pressure regulator.
