Craftsman snowblower (536.881400) picture showing tensioner bushing and auger cable connection

Does anybody have a picture showing details of how the auger drive cable connects (inserts) into the tensioner bushing and how the tensioner bushing mounts on the tension spring?

Many thanks.

Thank you for your question.

I have checked the manual for your snow thrower but the image is not very clear. I will try to explain how the bushing is installed. The bushing slides onto the end of the tension spring. Then route the cable through the slot in the bushing. If the cable needs to be adjusted, loosen the nut and slide the tensioner back to take the slack out of the cable. Then tighten the nut.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.
