Chainsaw Bogs While Cutting

I have a Poulan 2150 chainsaw and when I'm using it it runs excellent until I start cutting through a log and it bogs down and starts puffing blue smoke. It has all new fuel lines, fuel filter, air filter, spark plug. I was wondering if someone could tell me what could be wrong. Also the carb was taken apart and cleaned and everything is good. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi the carburetor was taken apart and cleaned then adjusted about a week ago and the saw was working excellent until I went to use it the other day. When I went to cut through a piece of wood it bogs down and smokes quite a bit.

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the chainsaw. I suspect the carburetor needs to be adjusted. Most of the carburetors have a plastic cap that limit the adjustment. I have found a video that will assist you in making the adjustments. Click

to watch the video. Before you make any adjustment make sure, you are using fresh fuel mix.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
