I have a craftsman miter saw # 137.212371. & the blade is cutting on the left side of the lazer. What would make my saw cut to the left side of the lazer.

Please help.

Thank you for your question on the laser for the miter saw.

It may have vibrated loose of gotten hit with piece of flying wood.

The laser on this saw was adjusted by the factory and is not adjustable.

However it can get dirty from saw dust and should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth with plain water. It has set screws that lock it to place.

So you may be able to re-align the laser by carefully loosening the holder and adjust the laser line.

Please be very careful to not look directly into the laser beam and it can damage your eyes
