Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.
There is not a lot of difference between the two spin speeds on this washer, regular is approximately 620 RPMs and slow is approximately 410 RPMs. When we see wet clothes after the spin, the first things that need to be checked are:
Check for unbalanced load.
Check for slipping belt.
Check for kinked tub to pump hose. Shorten hose by cutting 1/2 inch off each end of the hose. And then, re-secure hose ends with screw clamps.
Check reference marks on drive pulley and cams.
Check for partial engagement of the brake assembly.
Check the drain pump for obstruction.
Check the drain hose for restrictions.
Check for drain plumbing restriction.
When the washer does not spin fast enough, check for:
Broken or slipping belt.
Does the house drain system accept water from machine?
Blocked drain hose.
Broken impeller on pump.
Partial engagement of brake assembly.
Binding in the motor glide area.
Proper adjustment on thrust bearing.
Obstruction between tubs.
Binding tub seal.
This is an extremely difficult thing to diagnose in this particular washer. I highly recommend letting a service technician diagnose this washer.
If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website;
