I will be happy to assist you. First, unplug the saw from the wall. Then remove the screws that secure the guard assembly. To remove the guard take out the same screws you do to replace the blade. Then remove the screw in the center of the guard. Be careful the spring may try to come out. Once you have the screw out transfer the parts to the new guard. When you are trying to put the parts together insert the ends of the spring in the holes marked in the image below. Just click on the image to enlarge it. Once you have the spring in place rotate the assembly so the center hole line up and insert the center screw. Then reinstall the assembly back onto the saw.
