Thank you for submitting your question. The dryer does not have a reset button. The only way to reset the dryer is to unplug it for 5-10 minutes or to flip the breaker like you did. There are several components that aide the dryer in heating. The thermal fuse, thermostats, thermal cut-off, and the heating element all aide your dryer in heating. These components will need to be checked with a ohms/volt meter to see which has failed and needs to be replaced. You'll want to test the parts at room temperature disconnected. The continuity readings are provided below:

Thermal fuse 0 ohms (key #59)

Operating thermostat 0 ohms (key #42)

High limit thermostat 0 ohms (key #47)

Thermal cut-off 0 ohms (key #48)

Heating element 7.8 - 11.8 ohms (key #14)

If you do not feel comfortable performing test or repairing this problem yourself, I recommend scheduling for service. You can schedule for service online with our

A dryer is a very convenient appliance and used almost every day so it can be frustrating when it doesn't work properly. I did some research and provided a link to a similar question. I would suggest that you provide a little more information such as the make and complete model number of your product, so your expert will be able to provide you with the best possible answer. Just click on reply down below, where you can provide the additional information.
