I need to replace a seal in my Sears hydraulic floor jack model # 214.124500. I don't have the maual or a spare seal. The fluid leak is at the pump rod and the jack will only raise a couple of inches because the fluid has started leaking out. Otherwise it is in pretty good shape and I think it is worth keeping if I can find a replacement seal. Maybe one from a current product will work if you don't have one for this older model

I believe this jack is over 20 years old (if my info is correct), parts for this do not show to be available from the manufacturer any longer. Also, I'm afraid I do not have a copy of the manual available either. I know these jacks were some of the best ones made so it may be something you'll still want to look into fixing. You will likely have the best luck locating a local hydraulic supply house and see if they can match the seals up with something they have on their shelves to resolve the leaking.
