Sear Craftsman garage door opener 139.53681B not working. Already replaced battery. Can I get it replaced? If so...where?

I am also having problems with the 139.53681B remote. The wall number code works well, but the remote has stopped working . The battery was replaced and this did not help.

Does the remote unit need to be replaced? Seems unusual as there are no significant moving parts.

I have same remote 139.53681B and opener model 139.53674SRT2. Just recently the remote does not work anymore. The wall opener button works. I replaced remote opener with new battery. Erased all previous codes by pressing the learn button until indicator light went off and programmed the remote following the instructions at the back of the garage door opener. Press/hold push button of remote and press the learn button of garage opener until light start. But light does not blink
When I press on the push button of the remote I can see the garage door receiver/indicator light blinking but the garage opener motor does not start. I read that the remote could be locked and could be unlocked by pressing the smaller of the 2 round buttons of the remote for 2 seconds but this does not help.
Please advise.

I know that it can be very frustrating to have problems with your remote. It does sound like the remotes is faulty and will need to be replaced. You can do this at your local Sears Store, or you can order a new one from this link:

Sears Parts Direct

. I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
