What lubricant should I use on the idler pulley and drum rollers on a 2007 HE3 Gas dryer. I am replacing the idler pulley.

Model #110.9789.2601. Idler pulley was sqealing. Has burnt smell to it. I am replacing the pulley and belt.

I researched and was not able to find any information on what type of lubricant to use on the idler pulley assembly and rollers.  An expert will responds to your specific question within two business days, usually sooner.  Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for the inquiry about lubing the rollers on your dryer. Because the rollers are normally self-lubricating, any type machine oil will do. I actually prefer


grease, but only use a very small amount on the shaft before installing the rollers. (Do not leave access grease on shaft)
