Can my oven be used safely without the insulation?

I have a Kenmore electric range and the insulation between the oven and cooktop got damaged and makes the oven smell bad while cooking. I ordered the insulation to replace it but will take 8 days to receive it. Can the oven be safely used without the insulation?

I referred to the profile you created in the website and see that you have model number 790.91032404 listed for your range. Using this information indicates this is a freestanding electric range.

WARNING: DO NOT USE THE OVEN WITH OUT THE INSULATION INSTALLED!

The unit was engineered and designed with the insulation needed in order to pass all safety requirements.

Do not

use the oven unless the insulation is in its proper place in the oven. It is not safe to use without the insulation in place. Fire could result from using the oven without the insulation.
