I have a Kenmore dryer model # 11085081500. When you select your option & push the start button the alarm sounds

The only reset on your dryer is to unplug it or disconnect the power to it for 2-5 minutes. This will allow the electronic control board to clear itself. Normally when the control beeps it is telling you that something is not in the position to start. Make sure the door is closing properly.

Try the control in different cycles and see if it works on any cycle. Hold the start button in for 2-3 seconds.

If this doesn't help you will need a technician to diagnose and repair the problem. You might have a defective control board, door switch, or a bad connection in the wiring.
