How to remove and replace the handle on my refrigerator?

My refrigerator handle broke and I have a new handle to replace. How do I put it on?

I referred to the profile you created in the website and see that you have Sears Kenmore refrigerator model 106.53552200.

Below is the steps needed to replace your refrigerator handle.


Apply firm pressure with your hand on the face of the trim. Slide the

top trim

above the handle upwards and away from handle. Lift trim pieces off the shoulder screws.

Apply firm pressure with your hand on the the face of the trim. Slide the

bottom trim

below the handle down away from the handle. Lift the trim piece off the shoulder screws.

Remove handle screws and handle.

Reverse the handle removal procedure to install new handle.
