What does the FH error code mean on my Kenmore washer?

I have a Kenmore Elite front load washer. It is flashing F and then H. What does this mean?

The FH error code indicates that the washer control does not detect water entering the machine within 30 seconds after the fill valves have been opened. It is also displayed after 8 minutes if the flow sensor has detected 10.5 gallons passing through it without the water level pressure switch tripping.

Here are some troubleshooting tips for this problem:

Are water faucets completely turned on?

Are screens at inlet hose connection to washer clogged?

Are water inlet hoses kinked?

Are water inlet hoses frozen?

Is the drain hose stuck too far down the stand pipe?

If the tips in the above link do not help, you may have a component failure in the washer. The possible failures include: a bad flow sensor, a failed pressure switch, a wiring failure or a control board failure. If you need more technical help with this problem, resubmit your question with additional details.
