Why does the green light on my freezer chest keep blinking?

I have a Frigidaire 7 cubic foot freezer model number FCC0513DW0. It has a green power light in the front which keeps on blinking.

I can't find specific technical information on model number FCC0513DW0. You may need to check this model number again. Unless it is a commercial freezer, most Frigidaire freezers begin with "FFC" instead of "FCC".

Many of these types of freezers have a power lights that will start flickering. This could be caused by a loose connection. If your light is flickering randomly, this could be your problem.

In some models of Frigidaire freezers, a flickering power light could indicate a problem with the power supply to the unit. You may need to check the outlet for proper voltage. Try plugging a lamp or other small appliance into the outlet to see if it is working properly.

If the light is blinking uniformly to signify a fault code or problem, I would need a valid model number to access technical information about this freezer model. Check your model number and resubmit your question with the model number directly off of the unit if you need more help with this problem. Indicate whether the freezer is experiencing any operational problems as well.
