Is a Kenmore dehumidifier supposed to be blowing hot air?

Is it normal for hot air to be blowing out?

I wouldn't say the air should be hot, but it should be near room temperature or possibly just a little bit warmer than room temperature. The way it works is kind of like a window air conditioner but instead of blowing cold air out into the room and the hot air outside, the fan pulls the humid air through the cold evaporator coils, the cold air is then pulled through the hot condenser coils and back out into the room. So the cold air being pulled through the hot evaporator coils which should make the air blowing out near room temperature or just a little bit warmer.

If the dehumidifier is removing water the unit is working as designed.
