Why is water collecting under the crisper drawers in my refrigerator?
I have a Kenmore refrigerator model number 106.8627482. Water continues to show up in the area directly below the crisper drawers. I have run my hand along the interior walls and area of the control dials but don't feel or see any water.

Every time your refrigerator goes through the automatic defrost cycle, the water should be flowing from the evaporator drain pan through the drain hose & down to the drain pan under the refrigerator. Pull the refrigerator out & take off the drain hose to see if it’s restricted. You may need to remove the rear panel in the freezer to check if the drain is frozen up, you can use a hair dryer to aid in defrosting. Pour some hot water down the drain to help defrost & clean out.
I have a problem with Kenmore, model number starts with 253. So much water collects in the evaporator drain pan that it flows onto the floor on the time. Apparently the problem is not the drain hose (because water is going into the pan) but too much water altogether. Any ideas?
You can use a try to unclog the drain by pouring some hot water down the drain tube (as described above). You will probably need to eliminate the water from that evaporator drain pan first. You can remove that water using a wet/dry shop vac. Pour some hot water down the drain and see if it clears it. If not, you will probably need to have a service technician examine the refrigerator.
