I have a Proform 325x treadmill. The house circuit breaker kicks out when you start the treadmill. Should the controller board be replaced?

The motor controller can cause the breaker to trip. The power supply board can cause it also. Many times when this is the symptom both boards are shorted. When one shorts it tends to take the other with it.

I would disconnect the power to the treadmill and remove the motor hood. Visually inspect the motor controller and the power supply boards for burned marks. If you find one of the boards is burned, I would replace both.
