I have gas leaking from the weep hole on the carb of my Craftsman snow thrower. What is wrong?

I cleaned the carb. Now when I fill it with gas it leaks from what I see as a weep hole almost on top of the carb. The model number is 536.885471.

The "weep" hole is actually a vent hole for the carburetor to draw air into. When gasoline leaks out of the vent it is because the float inside the carburetor is not stopping the flow of gas into the carburetor when the bowl is full.

This can be caused by a piece of debris in the seat the needle seats in, or the float is not adjusted properly.

If the seat has debris in it the fuel line should be replaced.
