How do I light the pilot on my Maytag gas dryer?

I have a Maytag gas dryer model DG810 that will not heat.

Your dryer does not have a pilot light, it uses an electronic glow bar igniter that glows red hot that ignites the gas. There are several electrical components that must be in working order before the glow bar igniter will be allowed to glow. There are other components that must be in working order before the burner gas valve will open too. With this said, your dryer will require some testing with a volt/ohm meter in order to diagnose the failure.
