My Maytag Dryer MDE4806AYW quit drying. Is there a way to replace a thermostat? If there is a way to change the thermostat how would I proceed?

The first thing to do is to locate both house breakers dedicated for the dryer and flip both breakers OFF and ON 2-3 times and then recheck the dryer for heat.

You do not want to start replacing parts unless you know the part has failed. I added all the information needed to diagnose the failed component in the images below. There could one of several possible component failures. Each component wired in series with the heating element will need to be tested for continuity with an ohm meter.

I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your dryer.
