Why won't the ice maker dump ice in model #106.53706202.

Water in the mold freezes but won't harvest. I noticed ice was halfway through the harvest and water fill continued (once based on appearance). The overflow created really cool icicles all over the contents of the freezer. LED and ultra red diagnosis is OK. I removed the icemaker and cleaned it. When I reinstalled it the water cycled OK but ice is still not getting dumped into the bin. It's been 24 hours + since I reinstalled the icemaker. If water is getting into the mold (no more overflow) could a water valve or filter issue effect the rest of the harvest process? There are some small areas where the mold coating appears to be chipped or worn away which may be keeping the ice from releasing or is this just a layman’s lame diagnosis. I have an OHM Meter and some tools and a curiosity large enough to get me in trouble but this one requires a pros expertise. Thanks for any feedback.

If the ice maker fills but won't dump the ice it could have a defective thermostat. The mold heater could be open or maybe the optic board is not resetting properly.

If the mold is starting to chip I recommend replacing the icemaker. It should not effect the dumping of the ice but loose particles can get in the ice cubes. I'm sending you some resistance checks you can make on the ice maker module. There is some test terminals on the module (I'm sending a picture) located behind the front cover of the ice maker. Before making these checks disconnect the power from the refrigerator. If you need more assistance you can resubmit your question with more details.
