What does "F-24" error code mean on my HE2 plus washing machine?

I get an "F-24" code on my 110 Kenmore HE2 plus washing machine.

The "F24" error code is an indication of a water temperature sensor error. There is a chance that there is a loose wire connection on the water temperature sensor. The temperature sensor (key#24) is located at the rear bottom of the tub. (See images below)

You can gain access to the temperature sensor by removing the rear washer panel.

NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing the rear panel.
