What causes my air compressor to take so long to fill?

by Manage My Life Last activity date:

Craftsman air compressor model 919.153030. The compressor seems to take a long time to reach 100 PSI. No leakage after full. Any suggestions why it is taking so long to fill?

If there is no signs of leakage when full, I would think the problem may be due to worn rings on the compressor piston(s). You may want to have that looked at or just replace the piston rings.
